Going to a locally owned restaurant on The Ridge will feel just like dining at home as many of the establishments are family owned and operated. Friendly faces will be waiting to greet you at the door and tell you some of the local favorite items. Breakfast


Lofi Café is a community driven café with fresh seasonal menus that uses ingredients from  small farms, local ranchers, bakers, and purveyors all over the North State. Stop by for breakfast or lunch and try their delicious menu items, coffee, teas, and boba!

Famous for its Pancakes, Debbie’s Restaurant has been part of the community since 1988. Their menu features classic breakfast items including homemade gravy!

Lunch


Maria’s Kitchen is known in town for its tamales that started as a delivery operation. It has since grown, and serves a delicious array of authentic homemade foods with both indoor and outdoor seating. Check their facebook page to see what live music events they have going on.

Meeho’s is a local favorite that you can either enjoy at their restaurant or food truck. Their menu features traditional Mexican dishes and is home to the 2 lb grande burrito for those with a big appetite. Great for lunch of dinner!

Dinner


Stop by
Nic’s for food, beer and wine all perfectly paired and delicious. Their outdoor patio is excellent for enjoying the sunset. Keep an eye out for their limited time specials or try one of their delicious salads and sandwiches.


Authentic Thai Cuisine of Paradise is locally owned and operated. They are committed to using fresh ingredients and serving your favorite Thai dishes including Pad Thai and savory curry.

Dessert


Joy Lyn's Candies has been a local tradition since 1969--famous for their chocolates and candies. One of their most popular items is ​​their award winning Beer Brittle made with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.


Visit Baker Street Bistro in the colorful food truck outside of Paradise Town Hall at 5555 Skyway for fresh bread pudding, yummy beignets, pistachio cookies and specials like shaved peaches with hand whipped cream, crushed pistachios and vanilla ice cream.


You never know what creative delights await you at Lofi Café. From unique specialties crafted with local apples and peaches from Noble Orchards to cinnamon pull-apart cupcakes topped with torched orange cream cheese, there's always something new and delicious to discover.

An excellent way to spend time outdoors on The Ridge and beyond is by hiking or cycling. There are a number of trails for all skill levels to enjoy throughout the year. Bust out your best hiking shoes or mountain bike and take a look at some of the trails below to explore. Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail The Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail spans 5.1 miles along what was once the Butte County Railroad. A perfect trail for all experience levels, you may even spot a deer or two along your way [FYI on the Ridge, you might spot a deer in your bathroom]. If you have some time, take a moment to read the plaques along the trail which tells the story of Paradise pioneers and the community local history.  Plan your trip around a visit to Paradise Community Park and the Depot Museum, adjacent to the trail or take a detour to shops and restaurants along Skyway. "The Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail is beautiful all times of the year. Best place for a break is right before Clark Road heading north." - James
